WEDDINGS and RENEWAL OF VOWS

Couples can "tie the knot" at sea, with a small wedding party, or they can choose to "get hitched" at the dock or on the beach,
where more wedding guests can participate.   Captain Carolyn Pryor is an ordained minister and can help coordinate your
event.  She also performs weddings at other locations, such as the Bald Head Island Chapel or Lighthouse, the NC Aquarium
at Fort Fisher, or the Southport Community Building. Prices will vary with the location and elaborateness of the events.
 Sea/Side Ceremonies
Priority Sailing
Carolyn officiates while Dave steers the boat.
Docked at Bald Head Island for a honeymoon sleepover.
A meaningful memorial service can
be incorporated into a three-hour
sail. We typically go to a point three
miles out from the Oak Island
Lighthouse and the SW tip of Bald
Head Island to scatter the ashes of a
loved one on the Atlantic Ocean. We
also can arrange for a burial at sea.
MEMORIAL SERVICES
The Oak Island Lighthouse makes a
beautiful backdrop for a ceremony or
cruise.
A 4th of July ceremony anchored near Battery Island.
A bride and groom exchange their vows at the bow pulpit,
and then Captain Carolyn, wedding officiant, proclaims
them husband and wife .
A September 60th wedding anniversary renewal of vows.
Carolyn will develop a custom ceremony to suit the occasion,
incorporating the beliefs and traditions of the couple.

Local photographers who like to sail with us will give you a great deal on wedding and renewal of vows photography.
Southport artist Ricky Evans will provide you with a CD of the photos taken at the dock and aboard the boat, plus an 8-10

photography or  "on the water"
photos of the wedding couple from
the her boat, Datso, showing the
Carolina Gale with harbour views,
waterfront views and open-water
views. This package includes a
photo CD, 10 5" x 7" prints, and one
8" x 10" print. Betsy also is available
to photograph beach weddings.
She has 30+ years of photograph
experience. Her work has been
featured in national publications.
She has won several national
awards for lighting and design
display.
